We are already thinking of Christmas, especially with some of the sales at Toy R’ Us right now, several things we’ve talked about buying are on sale there. I’ve made out a Christmas wish list, I think I’ll be adding to it as I remember more. Mini Riceball has asked for a few things, and we’ve thought of a few things already that we think she would like. I tried to write down everything I remembered. I think anything we don’t, well Santa doesn’t get then we’ll be able to pick up post holiday on sale or the Easter Bunny will be able to pick up. I also noticed that the kitchen we want to get for her is on sale. We’ve been talking about a new kitchen for awhile. Her current one though cute is not so great in some aspects. The oven door sticks, is really difficult to close and sometimes the handle just pops off. Of course it was her first kitchen so we are fond of it and don’t want to just toss it. I don’t know maybe by Easter we’ll know what to do, then the Easter Bunny can bring it sale or no.
I also got an email this morning about a sale through Calvert, they have 10% off enrichment courses. Though right now it looks like she’s only old enough for the music course and I’m not sure how well that would go over. I may just put off enrichement courses until next year. An enrichement course might be something to do during the summer break. I still haven’t completely decided on what to do for summer.
I’m also thinking about crafts for Christmas already and recipes that we can do, for both Christmas and Yule. I’d like to do the Yule cake that I’ve been talking about making for years now.
